Scott Luna | CEO
Scott’s practice focuses on real estate law with an emphasis on land title issues and mortgage document preparation. Scott has served on the Garland ISD Board of Trustees for over a decade. With an inside perspective to school district issues, Scott serves as an invaluable asset to our commercial and residential clients.
As former President of the Oklahoma Land Title Association, Scott stays current on the numerous changes in the title industry. His law practice includes high volume title document preparation and lender closing documents, and he regularly offers CE classes for closing and escrow officers.
Both Scott and his wife Rene’ are graduates of Texas A&M. The couple have two sons.
Lance Luna | President
With 22 years of experience in the title industry, Lance is responsible for implementing corporate strategy while improving the organization’s operational efficiencies. Maintaining a firm understanding of the rules, regulations and compliance issues within a volatile real estate market is at the top of his agenda.
Lance serves on both the Garland ISD Business Advisory Committee, and the Oklahoma Land Title Association Leadership Program. He is also a member of the Garland Chamber of Commerce and Texas Land Title Association. His career evolved from Residential Closer to managing multistate offices as a HUD contracted Closing Agent. As a result of Lance’s involvement in complex residential and commercial transactions, Excel Title has earned a national presence.
Lance is a Texas A&M graduate and along with his wife Jody and three children, he is a proud Aggie football fan and a sports enthusiast.
Carl Luna | General Counsel
Carl has expertise in a broad range of fields and serves a diverse group of clients. He works diligently to support clients in the multiple aspects of both residential and commercial real estate transactions.
As a former Chamber of Commerce President, Carl has always had a heart for service in the community. His children, their spouses, and his grandchildren gifted him the Carl Luna Legacy Scholarship in 2013, which is awarded to a deserving senior in Garland ISD each year, honoring Carl’s hard work and dedication to his education, family and community.
Carl played football for the legendary Coach Paul “Bear” Bryant while earning his BBA at Texas A&M. Carl is active in the Letterman’s Association and he and his wife Sue have three children, Carla, Scott and Lance.
